i bid thee adieu, 2009

2009 gets a big middle finger from me. It's taken the things I once held closest and stripped them away. So I'm closing this year on the only good note I have. My family and my friends. Thank you all! I love you still. I pray next year is far better, as I can't see it being any worse.
If I had a montra from this year it would be: "All the people in the world can't fill the void of that one person."
And if I was to offer up a toast from this year it would be: "Hello... how bout that ride in? I guess thats why they call it Sin City haha.
You guys might not know this but I consider myself a bit of a loner.
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own.
And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So there... there was two of us in the wolf pack.
I was alone first in the pack and Doug joined in later.
And six months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys I thought "wait a second, could it be?"
And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack.
Four of us wolves, running around the desert together in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine."

And if I had a motto for this next year it would be: "I have more to give. I have more to live. I have more to touch. I have more than love."

Again, thanks to my family, all my closest friends, all my new friends and all the support I've received from each of you. I'm excited for Twenty-Ten (2010), for a new beginning, for a new chapter, and for new adventures.

Candy Apple

I have to say thanks to all my friends who have been helping me put my portfolio back together. Candy helped me out a few weeks ago. We had a quick session one late Friday afternoon and the images that we ended up surprised even me. These are some of my favorites I've worked on to date. I hope you all enjoy them as well.

Thrift Stores & Dinner Rolls

Sometimes you just have to get out of town and clear your head. Its fortunate when one of your friends is also feeling that very same way and luckily for me Amber (Slamber, Ambi, Bamber, etc.) knew a few hidden thrift stores in the greater Prescott area.

So after seeing the site (not sites) Prescott had to offer we  found some amazing eateries and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying good food and good company.

Misty Myers. For all those that already know the myth and the legend there is little left for me to say. For those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure of making her acquaintance I can only say you have been warned. Misty is one of my dear friends and is one of those people who leaves a lasting mark. She is even more beautiful in person than she is in these pictures but this will have to do for a lot of you. Merry Christmas, buddy.
   

Moe [molly] & JW [jaren]

If you’ve been around me for more than 15 minutes you are aware of the fact that I give just about everybody a nickname. The name in which i bestowed upon these duo is of course Moe and JW. I love both of these two characters fiercely (I’ll note now that they’re very platonic friends to avert future questioning). Anyways, we rocked and rolled our way through this shoot and as you can see from the pictures they’re about as awesome as they get. Enjoy.
