i bid thee adieu, 2009

2009 gets a big middle finger from me. It's taken the things I once held closest and stripped them away. So I'm closing this year on the only good note I have. My family and my friends. Thank you all! I love you still. I pray next year is far better, as I can't see it being any worse.
If I had a montra from this year it would be: "All the people in the world can't fill the void of that one person."
And if I was to offer up a toast from this year it would be: "Hello... how bout that ride in? I guess thats why they call it Sin City haha.
You guys might not know this but I consider myself a bit of a loner.
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own.
And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So there... there was two of us in the wolf pack.
I was alone first in the pack and Doug joined in later.
And six months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys I thought "wait a second, could it be?"
And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack.
Four of us wolves, running around the desert together in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine."

And if I had a motto for this next year it would be: "I have more to give. I have more to live. I have more to touch. I have more than love."

Again, thanks to my family, all my closest friends, all my new friends and all the support I've received from each of you. I'm excited for Twenty-Ten (2010), for a new beginning, for a new chapter, and for new adventures.
